Strategic product designer with 15+ years of experience driving products from zero to one — crafting intuitive, inclusive, and AI-enhanced experiences across enterprise and consumer platforms.
End-to-end ownership of Vidcast: Sept 2021 – Present. Three deep-dives into the platform's most complex design challenges.
End-to-end design ownership across the full product arc — a design system built from scratch, an accessibility strategy that turned a failed audit into a competitive advantage, and three core pillars that structured three years of growth.
Redesigned AI action items from a flat list into a decision-context tree. Used Figma Make with a live meeting transcript to validate the concept in a design review — surfacing a real leadership disagreement and earning an immediate green-light to ship.
Rebuilt the sharing paradigm from a single link into a layered permissions model — email, teams, domains, groups, and passwords. Built homepage discovery, playlists, and Pages driving 15,970 playlists, 3,949 pages, and 19% of all platform views.
UX & UI Design, Front End Development, and Design Systems & Libraries — across Cisco, Amazon, and Microsoft.
AI-powered video repository, meeting recording, self & desktop recording, and organization platform. Defined and executed full UX strategy, integrated AI into video workflows, scaled from ~500 internal users to 3M+, and championed WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility.
End-to-end mapping of a typical day-in-the-life user journey for Vidcast — from recording in the morning through sharing, consuming meeting content, and collaborating throughout the day. Used to align product, PM, and engineering on the full experience arc.
Redesigned AI action items from a flat list into a decision-context tree. Each card surfaces the question, state, deciding argument, and who said what. Validated live with a real meeting transcript in Figma Make — earning an immediate green-light to ship.
AI-powered presenter coaching feature analyzing recordings and providing personalized feedback on pacing, filler words, eye contact, and delivery — without requiring physical presence in front of a camera or microphone.
Enabled live streaming events where entire companies can join and interact, and shared collaborative recordings with multiple participants — solving the multi-person recording problem without requiring everyone in the same room.
Creator analytics dashboard giving detailed insights into viewer behavior, engagement, and demographics across videos, playlists, pages, and channels — designed to empower data-driven content decisions.
Companion desktop app with moveable self-view, floating recording controls, hotkey support, and a WYSIWYG recording experience. Eventually replaced browser-based recording as the platform default.
Organic, mobile-first video calling UI for the Alexa app. Created a coordinate-based grid and bubble-sizing system that gave engineers a precise, scalable layout language for any new calling configuration.
Enterprise file storage and collaboration platform help page redesign — giving users a clear, organized path to answers across WorkDocs' wide feature set, focused on findability and reducing support load.
Redesigned admin console using the AWS Polaris design system — giving IT administrators a clear, scalable interface for managing users, permissions, storage, and security settings across their organization.
End-to-end UX for Amazon Backup — full enterprise machine, folder, and file snapshot application. Designed after discovering a 2-year-old PRFAQ never reconciled with engineering. Instituted a new PM-led feature definition process adopted across multiple WorkDocs products.
Built the full Windows 10 Store front-end prototype in production-ready XAML and C# — used to earn leadership buy-in. Co-led a small team to ship to hundreds of millions of users across 669,000+ apps. Accessibility built in from day one.
Self-taught Splash — Microsoft's proprietary Windows Phone front-end language — to transform developer code into pixel-perfect, accessible UI. Bridged design and engineering, polishing production UI and reflowing designs across every screen size.
Solely responsible for the entire front-end of the Xbox One OOBE in production-ready XAML and C# including animations — the first screen every Xbox One buyer ran through. Learned XAML from scratch, from blank file to shipped product.
Rebuilt the entire Windows Photos app front-end over 9 weeks to create a seamless, injectable prototype for live user research — enabling design changes to be delivered and tested in real-time during research sessions.
Front-end design and development within the AWS ecosystem — building and refining UI components using the AWS design system, bridging design intent and engineering implementation across WorkDocs cloud infrastructure products.
No design system existed when I joined Vidcast. Consolidated all components, migrated to Momentum for accessibility wins, then built a fully independent Vidcast design system when Momentum proved too slow. Owned and maintained every token, component, state, and theme for 3+ years.
Built the design library powering every Amazon.com consumer device — Echo Show, Fire TV, Alexa mobile, Fire Tablets. Pixel-perfect components with every state, specced in detail for engineering to build a matching development library.
Architected the Nova design system in Adobe XD from scratch — replacing disconnected controls across all WorkDocs products with a unified component library. Self-taught React.js to prove object-oriented development value; engineering adopted the library directly into the product.
I am a strategic Product Designer and UX Lead with over 15 years of experience driving products from zero-to-one. I specialize in crafting intuitive, inclusive, and AI-enhanced user experiences for enterprise and consumer platforms.
Most notably, I designed the video communication platform Vidcast from the ground up at Cisco Webex, serving as the sole designer as it scaled from a small internal tool to over 3 million users. My background spans design and prototyping at Amazon and Microsoft, where I built scalable design systems and bridged the gap between design and development.
Deeply passionate about storytelling, mentorship, and shaping the future of human-AI interaction. Whether building complex UI libraries or defining what it means to be a designer in an AI-driven world — I am dedicated to creating accessible, beautifully designed experiences that blend technology with everyday human life.
